a place designed for young children where they experience the joy of learning
Established in 1995 and opened in 2003, the Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to engage young children’s potential by inviting families of all backgrounds with children age birth to 10 years old to explore environments and experiences that spark imagination and stimulate curiosity through the power of play.
A world of discovery awaits at the Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry. Kids explore building projects with real tools and climb aboard a Lowcountry pirate ship.
Families can create inspired masterpieces every day in our dedicated art center. At CML, play inspires creativity and encourages lifelong exploration of the world around us.
Free monthly programs further our interdisciplinary and exciting approach to learning. Children enter our doors with anticipation, take part in our programs with wonder and laughter, and leave with fond memories and a better understanding of basic science, environmental, and artistic concepts.
Established in 2003, the Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to create innovative learning experiences in our museum and throughout our community that equip and inspire all children to become creative problem solvers.
