How We Play
CML is a museum for children and caregivers to learn through play. We welcome and serve all families in an inclusive and safe environment. To ensure everyone has a great experience, we expect our staff, volunteers and visitors to act responsibly and be considerate of others as we share this space.
Expectations and Rules
- Respect others, including staff, volunteers and visitors.
- Children must be under the constant supervision of their adult caregiver.
- Use your “walking feet” at all times.
- Take turns, share, clean up and use museum exhibits and materials respectfully and appropriately so all may play safely.
- CML promotes family engagement. Limit cell phone use and enjoy exploring and learning together.
- Please report any emergency or “lost” child to a museum team member.
Code of Conduct:
- Rough play, fighting and threatening behavior will not be tolerated.
- Profanity, inappropriate behaviors, harassment and abuse are prohibited.
- CML is a tobacco-free facility. Vaping or e-cigarette use is not permissible in the museum.
- Using, possessing or being under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs is prohibited.
- Weapons of any kind are not allowed on museum premises.
- All adult visitors must be accompanied by a child or a museum team member.
- Failure to follow instructions of museum team members for the safety of other guests may result in expulsion and forfeiture of museum membership.
Please review the Rules and Code of Conduct with everyone in your group before you visit, and help them if they need reminding throughout your visit.
